Since 2000, Judah Kurtz has provided customized coaching and consulting services to creatives, design professionals, and entrepreneurs throughout the United States. His unique talent for helping clients transform abstract, complex issues into tangible, practical solutions allows them to see the "bigger picture" without losing sight of the details.
Passionate about driving sustainable growth, Judah employs tools and techniques customized to the context and client. He is focused on maximizing impact and quality-driven outcomes through strategic planning, change management, learning and development, effectiveness, engagement, and coaching/training. He also designs team building interventions and workshops around such topics as project management, communication, leadership, motivation, and organization skills.
Judah has over 15 years of experience working with C-level executives and leadership teams of Fortune 500 companies and in the non-profit and education sectors. Current and previous engagements have included such organizations as GE Healthcare, Kraft Foods, BBDO (Omnicom), GolinHarris (IPG), RR Donnelley, Segal Design Institute (of Northwestern University), AIDS Foundation of Chicago, and Birth2Work. He has served on the boards of various organizations, and chaired RR Donnelley’s Diversity Council.
Judah was extensively trained at Northwestern University, where he earned a Bachelor’s with honors in psychology and organization behavior, a certification in training and development, and a Master's in learning and organizational change. He also completed graduate training in counseling and organizational psychology at Adler School of Professional Psychology, and underwent hundreds of hours of coaching training through two distinct programs.
Originally from San Francisco, Judah has lived in Chicago since 1997. He is a violinist and amateur photographer, and has a passion for travel, culture, art, music, and wit. He also enjoys personal development, meditation, downward dogs in his yoga practice, and contributing to his blog, JudahBuddha.com.
